See, I don't understand the problem.
This site isn't called "Buying firewood at the Grocery Store Club", or "Getting my Firewood Right before I need to Burn it Club".
You're fine. Now, get back at it.

Go ahead rebel, cut until your heart is content! Many of us love seeing and even hearing about nice wood piles.

There is no reason to stop. I didn't go through much wood this winter, either. But the thought of not cutting wood is very depressing to me. I enjoy cutting, and will do so as long as I am blessed enough to be able to do it. So my advice is... Do what makes you happy. No one will judge you for it here.

I'm in the same boat man. I'm also leaving a lot of rounds under 6" that I normally would have split. It's time for me to go grab some more pallets and add length to the stacks!!

It's just so much fun, and the cares of the world matter none. And, you get get to admire what you have done, priceless.

Heck I even had my concrete saw out that I just finished rebuilding, cutting up some rocks into slabs so that I can stack wood on them. Always something to do. Really it is a fun hobby for me.
