must have plans for all the free time you are going to have not messing around eith the stove. Dump in pellets, set it and forget it.

Oh yes, when I went from cleaning my Astoria that heats the main house to the P61 the almost every other day cleanings went way, way down! ImAcMan and I both had Astorias and we both went to lower maintenance stoves, so we learned our lesson here. It is so nice to discuss this with people who understand! Thanks!

I did not say Harman specifically, I did say less maintenance stoves and even though Harman may be one of them, there are other Brands and models that may be less maintenance too.

Burning rocks in my Harman will keep it warmer inside than 27 degrees.

must have a good sense of humor because all the non Harman owners are going to give you crap about buying one. Especially when they complain about a brand of pellet and you post, no matter what I put in my Harman it burns fine.

That part is an urban legend. Chit pellets are chit pellets and burning them in a Harmon doesn't magically make them burn fine lol. Yes, sadly it's true. Even a Hormone couldn't make those original infernos burn swell.

Sorry team if I'm releasing top secret data here!

speaking for most Harman Owners [I know. who asked you lol]
anyways, to me Burning fine means they will fully ignite and throw off heat without messin up or clogging your stove.
having to scrape the burnpot now/then is with pretty much any pellet But more so with some BBS Crappier stuff which I usually call " The Ole Roy's Pellets."

My favorite part of Harmans are all the owners talking about how they burn anything but in the same breath say they have to scrape the pot and buy fancy scraping tools.

    Happy Scraping :p

A burn pot that pushes ash over the side. After hearing that I never once considerd any other stove. They dont even exist in my mind. So you have to scrape a few times. i vaccumed out the burn pot on my us stove every single morning or it would die out. These harmans are like a gift from god. Trust me if harman didnt come up with that burn pot first and patent it every stove would be using it. Harman making pellet burning great again
