The current Lowe's price of $99.50/ton has caused my stash to grow to 15.8 tons. Enough for about six years. Couldn't help it.
I'd say your at least a big baby!! Sitting on 4+ tons now, Hoping to stuff another if the pigs in my area don't hog em all!! Guess I'm just a piglet by the looks of all youz guyz/galz stashes.
Have 4 more tons being delivered in a couple of weeks. $468 for 4 tons plus delivery (I live outside delivery radius so had to pay a couple of bucks extra). That will take me up to 13 tons in my possession.
Hi Bogieb, O.K. Right here you answered my question that I posted previously in another thread and the other forum.
If delivery times are being stretched out to April, that tells me that a lot of pellets have been sold, and maybe Lowe's has to wait for the pellets to arrive from the mill. If might be that the mills are liquidating their inventories and Lowe's is the store to handle the transactions.
Stretched to April.....My order of 4 Tons purchased last night on the net showed up today! I guess they had room on the truck as I wasn't expecting until next week.
I wouldn't be surprised if Lowes and others are still receiving non-cancel commitments they made with the mills
i doubt it. any PO can be changed as to date of delivery. West Oregon Wood products (Blazers) closed their doors because the BBS could not take delivery of the orders they placed, and some other issues. i have a customer in our headset accessories business, that because of the low oil prices has lost orders to the oil fields. their orders to us have been stretched out....and stretched out....and stretched out.... but they are an important customer that we don't want to pizz off, so we allow it. All the mills are in the same position.
