Super cedars

    I really like the super cedars. I don't use a lot bc we usually have plenty of coals to start a fire. But when I do use them I never use kindling. It's really nice being able to load a cold stove full of splits and a 1/4 super cedar lights it right up.

    Starting a fire that often certainly makes the super cedars a great thing. I don't ever remember starting as many fires as we have this winter. For sure Thomas has to be smiling this year with so many super cedars used. lol

    I love Super Cedars, don't get me wrong. My first batch were hard and stayed together. This batch are crumbly and a PITA. I've been told you can request the harder pucks. I will be doing that next time. I understand the need for the softer, crumbling ones if someone has difficulty with hand strenght. That's not a problem I have so I'd rather not have the crumbs mess.
