Wife and I love the Clydesdales.
they have come to our county fair the last 2 years which is highly unusual.
1 they do not normally do fairs.
    2 never 2 years in a row.

We have a half dozen or so Heavy Draft Shows and a few Pulls in this area every summer. The 8 horse hitch is absolutely awesome. They are amazing animals.........................

There's an Amish guy not too far from my parent's house the logs with 4 percherons. I've had the pleasure of seeing them in action and they are truly amazing, and unbelievably strong. I'm not a horse guy (worked on a horse farm, pretty much hate them, but am OK with people who like them) but I have a lot of respect for those animals.

Powerful, majestic animals- always a favorite of mine.
My dad shot a cow moose(500 #'s dressed) up in Vermont back around 2007, and his hunting buddy, who was a native to the area, had a local fellah bring his draft horse to pull that moose down the mountain through thick underbrush..... Really neat!

Yeah, we have a local lad who does bush work with a pair of Belgians. He leaves the bush areas he logs in pristine shape as opposed to the mechanical skidders which knock down everything they don't cut. This fellow has all the work he wants, as he is highly sought by bush owners here.

I don't know if this is actually a Budweiser ad but it is funny.

When I was a teenager, I used to work for a farrier/blacksmith/hobby farmer. He had a couple of big draft horses that in the winter he would use to pull a toboggan loaded up with logs he would cut for firewood. Then it was my job in the summer to split and stack it all for him.
