That's the difference between a wood hoarder and sand hoarder.

I'm needing some sand time soon. Off to cut wood today though.

Cutting splitting and stacking wood is very therapeutic, but I need 7+ days in a place with palm trees and sand to get away from work stress.

I would love to take a little vacation time and work on the wood pile it's quite therapeutic as some have mentioned. The only problem with that is convincing my wife that is the way my vacation day needs to be spent. She thinks I'm loco~crazy, but then maybe I am.

When it's slow at work in the fall I'll take time off (without pay) and gladly go home and cut wood rather than sit there and do nothing.
Ya done the right thing Smokinpiney.

Normal is boring, I'd rather be cutting too.

Next time, take a whole day off. Do your wood hoarding the first half, then sand hoarding the second half.
