They got our road open late yesterday. Mail and news paper came today. First since Monday I guess. Well it was a first kiss of spring in the mail. Got some seed catalogs. I left my glasses out in the shop and the wife was busy so I had our 4 hired hands give them a look see. I will have to double check but I think the sweet corn is all picked out for now.

Since she is the 1 who keeps the coons outta the corn I asked her was she sure on her choice after that much studying and I got the same look I always get outta her.

    Of course that's a Brit!

Great story she has on how she came to be butcher's coon deterrent.

Keep posting pics of her Butcher!

    You know I miss mine.

Hadn't really noticed one since our family had to get rid of our last dog when my brother "grew" into his allergies back when we were kids. But at least we could visit with "Champ" every summer when his new owner brought him out to our home town, right across the street from my Great Grandmother's home. He lived to be 20!
    Still miss that dog:tears:

As for the seed catalogs, they used to all come right after New Year's Day. Then they started coming right after Christmas. Then before Christmas. Now we start getting them right after Thanksgiving and we may have gotten one or two just before Thanksgiving last fall. Geeze....

It appears that you may have questioned her choice in the second pic!  That's a pretty serious look, especially for a Brit! It might just be the glasses though.
