Noodling some big oak

    That was a big un for sure! What kind of oak?

    Really like the claw on the tractor, perfect tool for the job. :)

    White oak. Unfortunately it was from a laneway and full of iron. Kinda takes the fun out of things

    The big one is beech. That tree was about 200 years old but mostly rotten. The nicest size wood was punk and ended up in the chipper. Tractor is a Kubota 3540 glide shift. Poor mans hydrolics off the rear aux to control the grapple, but it sure helps with the big stuff. I'm
