Storm looks like it may get us here a little bit over weekend, so while grounds frozen hope to get out to woods where i have couple of cords cut up, get it picked up and in the pile and maybe covered with some rubber roof remnant. Have heard everything from 6 inches to a foot, so may be shutting it down for a while if that comes true, and snow plow going on the truck. Which always helps storms miss us when i do that. Best of luck to those in North east.
Shoot- we're looking at a potential 18" over the next 3-4 days! Put that plow on Greg Hope your dad is stocked up on wood and doing well....
That's hilarious right there. Good friends step dad is from Florida. I was helping them do a project and he said pass me the zaw zaw. Wtf? I walked away asking what kind of idiot he was.
Some areas in central pa may see 2 to 3 ft. Depends where it tracks....... no matter what, many will get slammed!
We're missing out on it, might get a couple inches. Bought new plow for the truck and so far only pushed 6-8 inches this whole winter
We might get a few flurries tonight but we should see warmer temps for the next 8 days. Looks like the storm is going south of us.
This just isn't what I like to see, this storm you guys are talking about looks like it will be staying in PA. I'd sure like to see some snow on the ground, heck other than starting the snow blower to make sure it was running fine, haven't used it once.
I'm at the epicenter on the current models, I'm standing by to get wolloped. Made sure my FIL got his blower out and verified it runs. He found he's out of fuel. .....
i didn't think that we are to get much overnight and then just a bit in the am. although the weather men have been wrong before.
I think I'm looking at a foot for Saturday, gotta get the generator ready just in case for some lights and the fridge, the wood stove for heat no electricity for that
That remind's me, of me. Not too long ago, I found out that no matter how many times, or how hard I pulled on the parking brake release, the hood would not open I'm still like a kid when it comes to snow. They say it's going to stay south of us.
Good thought NYCountry! The genny. Ill be checking fuel levels tomorrow in case we have a need for it. With heavy snow, wind, idiots driving and sliding into poles, the power is bound to go out. I wonder if this thing will track more south?
I heard the mid atlantic area will be getting a "blockbuster" snow storm as the local tv weatherman said!
Not looking like we will get it, but then again, it is Tuesday and the weather men are often hit or miss. For me, Scotty Overkill can have all of this!
'cmon, where's your sence of adventure? The weatherman has been way off lately, at least with his snow depths.
I am well north of the green in that picture in central Illinois but so far we have about an inch and they are now predicting as much as 3 inches by morning. At least it will be wet snow with temperatures in the teens right through the night.
