Hey DexterDay or any other Fahrenheit owners! My burn pot is not going into the correct position for normal burn. I can move the actuators manually in and out but it will not slide past the feeding ramp in normal burn mode. So, every few hours my whole pot area is overflowing. I have caught it every few hours and shut it down to dump all the pellets to the ash pan and restart. Same outcome. Of course this has to happen with sub 30s for the next 7 days and single digits tonight.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dex to the rescue:thumbs:
He does lives nearby, I think:whistle:
Sounds like the actuator arm assembly is malfunctioning.
To get you by, remove the arm pivot pin, push the burnpot assembly all the way in and live with it until the weather breaks and come up with a plan to fix it.

Long story short, I hooked up an OAK yesterday and the flapper inside the intake was not opening, so it was starved for air. Disconnected the OAK for now, made sure the flapper is open and we are back to the way it was before I F'd it up yesterday. The burnpot actuator issue was me looking for something else wrong before I realized that wasn't the issue. So I slept about 3 hours last night screwing with stuff and lost about 2 ash pans full of half burned pellets in about 18 hours.

    Crisis Averted.

I am sure my BIL enjoyed my panic stricken text at 5 this morning, but that was probably better than 1-4 in the morning when I was staring at stuff trying to figure out what I did.

I live about 1.5 hours from chbryson. I married his sister... So we are pretty close. :) He is a true brother to me.

He had a small crisis, but all seems well. He is finally ordering a blower/impeller assembly from Don2222.

Glad it's running.. Cold it's cold as heck here in Northern Ohio.

Is that the furnace I was inquiring about from the vendor in Ohio who had a demo?

It was a demo from around our area somewhere. I bought it about 2 years ago? Been great and heats the house without any issues (as long as I don't touch anything)

That's the place. Ordered some upgrades today. We will have a "work weekend" one weekend and maybe there will be some beverages involved getting the changes made.
