What is the lowest price per gallon of gas you paid at the pumps this year? - $1.859 for me!

$1.64 for diesel.

 

$1.63 using my Kroger points just before Christmas; filled up and I don't go out much. The last time I looked a couple weeks ago it was even lower with the Kroger Points.

 

$2.19, if I remember correctly, at home in WA state. $1.59 when I visited my Dad in Louisiana.

 

Yesterday I filled my pickup up with regular at an Exon station. $1.799 per gallon.

 

On 1/2/16, at the Cumberland Farms in our beautiful Capitol City, I paid 1.799/gal. That was with my 10 cent/gal discount for using their card. Also, that station is routinely cheaper than other places.

Unfortunately, I only go to the Capitol City, 30 miles away, for specific purposes. The last two weeks, on my normal route, I have been getting gas at $1.899/gal with my discount. Still, much better than the $4+/gal a couple of years ago (although now, I'm driving a vehicle that gets half the mpg that I was getting back then )

Don't remember exactly, but the lowest I paid in the past few months was in the $1.60s.

It's sitting around $1.92 now. I'll take that all day long.

 

Outside of the current situation with the oil producing countries; the reason that gasoline climbed so high was due to speculation. Oil was brought and sold without a single drop changing hands. There use to be a law that controlled the speculation to prevent such outrageous prices but Clinton signed a bill to remove it. I have to be careful so this does not become political; and stating facts is not political (I am apolitical anyway, I have no love for any political party). The total move away from fossil fuels is not going to happen any time soon.

 

Around here, today, 87 octane is going for 1.719. I paid 1.919 because I was on my bike and couldn't use 87. It needs 89 minimum.

 

Paid 1.73 today after I redeemed a few Kroger Plus points. Think the regular price was 2.03. That's midgrade gas btw. The Hemi in the Durango is picky about what fossil fuels it gulps down, kinda like me and beer.

 

1.78 a gallon now, and its going down again. It was swinging back up to almost 2.00 a gallon.

 

I love me some gas buddy.

 

Got gas last night at the Concord Cumberland Farms and using their card, gas was $1.76/gallon.

 

Just paid $1.55 in the big city when we filled up Henry's tank.

 

$1.91 in fishkill N.Y.

This is not the norm - most area prices are in the low $2 range but for some reason this one gas station is always significantly lower. I would question the quality of the gas - but i've been fueling up there for 5 years and no problems. I'd question the pumps too but when i fill my 5 gal container, the pump says 5 gallons and its right on the 5 gal mark.

 

Last time I was in Fishkill the price was near $3 a gallon if I remember right. Gas here is $1.56 at the pump before discounts from fuel points. Diesel is $1.68.
