I am on other (hobby) forums that have "supporting members" donations made no strings attached.

Hey. Thanks for posting this. I just made a small donation and hope all goes well for him. I have not seen it here and I do not belong to AS. Can someone explain to me what happened to him?

Heart issues landed him in the hospital within' millimeters of his life IIRC. There's a pic of him and his hospital bed. Hard to see him under all the equipment. o_O

I hope he comes by and says Hi over here. Quite a few members here contributed and All of the Staff has.

He was very close. They had to have a special bed shipped in, to keep him clamped in and rotating him. He had an infection around his heart, but it stemmed from something else.

If you Search Tbone over on AS. You will find it. (If they are up and running. They have had their fair share of problems from a Hacker.)

Well, the winners were chosen and lots of money was raised for John (Tbone). Here is a glimpse into the next saw. The last one was a 50cc J'red. This next one may catch MasterMech eye

A Stihl MS 461!! Some screen shots of the amount raised and the next saw.

That was a lot of money rasied. Good on everyone who donated!! John surely appreciated it!! I hope that this was only a drop in the bucket.

    Cheers

I'm de-sticking this one guys. Randy, did you guys ever raffle off the 2nd saw or were you waiting for AS to get their britches ironed out?

Until the 2nd saw is raffled? Should it still be a sticky?

They said that whoever donated for the 1st saw, was in on the 1st Two saws.

Which means that we are still in on the 461. And when AS gets back up "again", I know I will be purchasing more raffle tickets.

I would be up for buying a ticket or two for that saw. Will someone be posting the info in this thread?

Id wait for Mastermind to post on whether the Link in the very 1st post is still active for the Raffle?

Would guess so, but want confirmation. We will be watching AS and will keep all updated here. The next saw is a 461 that will be touched by the hands of the Chimp :)

The raffle on the 2nd saw has not started. Randy (The Chimp) will let us know when it does and how you can buy a ticket. I am sure it will be ran the same way as the last raffle. AS being down has delayed the raffling of the 461 for sure. It could be quite some time before AS is up and running again. Once the raffle begins, you can re-sticky the thread.
