image.jpg image.jpg So I've been wanting to get a small saw for pruning trees in the yard, shortening splits that don't fit into the insert, or trimming along the edge of the fields. Was looking at the Echo CS-271 that Orschelns has and was going to pick one up when I got another load of feed for the chickens. I had to go into the local JD dealer to drop some paperwork off and found that they were clearing out this saw

    Step 1, gut that muffler.
    Step 2, re-tune.
    Step 3, cut wood!

It was out the door for 250. I haven't run it a full tank yet, but cut a lot of ERC branches off for the goats to chew on.
I figured I would run a few tanks thru it then do a few mods to it.

I have a 341, been using it for a few years, good little saw. Enough power that I havent played with it, just incase they would actually stand by the 5year consumer warranty if something went bad.

YouTube is the easiest method. Once you get it up, just paste the link into your post here and the forum software does the rest.
