Just glad she's OK buddy! My wife is getting outpatient hernia surgery this Friday (caused by pregnancy years ago) so I took the day off to get her there and back.. I'll assign firewood hauling therapy after lol
Keep us posted Ray......I'll send some prayers for a quick and speedy recovery for her, and remember, if you're assigning firewood work to your wife, we'll need to see pics for the proof!!
Here's my wet wood drying out. I have a loaded wheel barrow in under cover also. This wood should all be gone by late morning I'd guess. I just want it all dry from the snow.
I'm actually excited somewhat to see what -13 will be like with my stove. Not sure she will keep up but the furnace should supplement just fine on any gaps.
Made it through the morning with very little snow here in NW Ohio. The afternoon was a different story. At this point, my trailer is still 1/3 loaded, but most of it is on the trailer axles, with very little on the drives. Just tried to get out of the hotel parking, but I guess not. Sooooo, back to bed for me. Hard to say how much snow there is here. Some of it was rain, all of it was wet, heavy, and slippery. I had no trouble in Thursday's storm, which was cold, dry powder. Now, with the wind and whatever fell overnight, I'm drifted in. Wife will have to bring in more wood before I get home. The rack on the hearth is usually enough while I'm gone, but she only had two splits left when I got home on Friday. Little colder and a lot more wind today.
