I've found a good lookin' 460. It says a 32" bar is attached (a little big???). But he's asking $700, good price?

Will it be that much more noticeable on power than my 362?

its quite a bit stronger ,but the 32'' in hard wood would be a stretch if your in a hurry

I have a 460 with a 20" bar and it screams through wood. Will be buying a bigger bar for it soon though for some of the bigger stuff I get into. Won't run it most of the tie but want the bar for when I need it.

Does the price seem decent, though? Yea, if I did get it, I'd look at a 20-25" bar for it.

Not too bad, mine was less but it was a rebuilt aftermarket kit. Mm sold an OEM 460 for a little less then that one. If you can get him down a little it wouldn't be a bad deal at all. That 32" bar is around $90-100 I believe

$700 isn't bad, given the history. 32" is the max for that saw, the 25"-28" is what that saw owns and runs with authority!!

For $50 more, I'd PM Terry and see what he has and compare pics and bar set ups.

I will say that my 460 is a mean violent saw! I love it!!

$700 is about right for that saw. I'd sell the 32" Bar/chain and buy a 28" ES Light for it instead. Balances out much better, and I know it will run it with mucho authority. But get rid of that stock muffler and throw a dual-port on it ASAP please. It is unreal how much seat-of-the-pants power these saws pick up from a muffler swap/mod.

I have a 25" bar on the one I currently have, but since I only paid $130 for the saw I could not be picky.

Well, they still have it. It's a a pawn shop. Supposeably it was a pawned from someone needing money and he said that the guy bought it last August. I'm going to go check it out after work if I get off in time.

Will my 362 25" bar fit?

    Yes it will.

Pawn shop? Haggle until they get ready to throw you out on your arse. It's likely they didn't give a dime over $300 for that saw.

Yes, a pawn shop... So I don't know how low they will go... But. I guess on your advise, I'll see if they will haggle? But your probably right about the $300 just didn't think of that... Thanks!

Well.... The deal fell through. It was decent, but their attitude and the kept talking about the "other" callers from the listing.

    I'll find another deal...

The 460 is one of those saws that just attracts a lot of attention. Are they that good? I thought so....

Yea, they do. But they dont show up every other day either here. I figured something of the bigger size would show up during christmas.
