Thanks for all the help on the MS 250 everyone. I stopped at the Stihl dealer on the way home Wednesday and decided to switch to 3/8 picco. Took home an 18" bar and 2 full chisel chains. Had to order the clutch drum and rim sprocket but those will be in early next week.

    Oops, sorry.

New bar, drum, rim sprocket, and chain installed. Carb tuned for the muffler mod. It's louder, but not enough to make me want to get a stock muffler and start over.

Just need to find the time and place to do some cutting for the final update.

It's worth the time for sure. Could feel a good difference just tuning the carb. Revs faster and feels stronger all the way through the RPM range and that's going from a 14" to an 18" bar.
