The Silver Bullet is dead.

My old trusty stainless steel coffee mug bit the dust. The black inner lining broke in half. It was the best mug I have had for not leaking and keeping my warm brown water nice n warm. It was a gift and had no markings of who made it other than the name of the place that I was hauling D2C into. Do any of you have GOOD insulated mugs that don't dribble as you drink from them. Where did you get it and who made it. I will pay good for a good mug but can't tolerate .99 € gas station garbage leaky mugs!

 

Contigo brand at Kohl's are the best I know of right now. LL Bean had a good one but they stopped selling them for some reason. I can fill with coffee at 7 and still have hot coffee at lunch pretty easy.

 

Also I have both the West Loop Autoseal and the Snapseal....I like the snap seal better and it's easier to clean. That's on the Contigo brand.

Bubba 34 oz. classic. But it doesn't fit ordinary cup holders.

 

Got my last couple from "The Jerky Outlet", which is also a gas station. Five dolla, no holla.
I use 'em until the snap on lid starts to leak, then throw the lid away, and keep using it. Almost indestructible.

 

Mine is a LL Bean, it keeps my tea hot all day.

Got a yeti mug as a gift.. no complaints. Wouldnt pay their prices myself but a great gift so far. Has zero effect on taste and really does stay stupid hot for a long time

 

Yeti x2. Quality costs $. Buy once, cry once and enjoy warm coffee while doing it.

 

Dropped $30 on a Yeti a few weeks back at Bass Pro and no regrets...I love it!!

I don't like our Contigo, overpriced and kinda goofy.

You know what my wife and I use the most? We have a shelf full of all different types - the Tervis Tumblers. No handles so they fit in all cup holders (important!) and cheap enough that a 4 pack is what one of those Contigos go for. Dishwasher safe, and it works. I drink my coffee in about 45 minutes (I take my time) and its warm by the end. We once got 2 as gifts a few years back, and we always both reached for those mugs for our coffee until one lid finally cracked. Then, we were both grabbing the same mug, and me, being a gentleman and all and much stronger - well I always won that fight

 

I have a Contigo that works fine. Doesn't have a lot of miles on it yet...so no idea on durability.

 

Tervis fan, myself. I don't think they will keep coffee warm until noon, but it doesn't last much longer than twenty minutes for me anyway. Long term storage is what the steel Thermos is for.

 

I would like a coffee cup that doesnt stain.

 

Get a coffee colored mug.

 

I guess it all depends on whether you want a travel mug, a flask, or an open cup. I can't make any good recommendations on the travel mug although I've heard good things about the yeti. As far as a flask or an open cup, I have Hydro flask products and I love them. They're expensive but very high-quality. They keep hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold. I got mine off of Amazon. The 18 ounce flask is perfect for coffee especially with the widemouth lid. The 16 ounce pint glass is insulated and works well for either hot or cold. Of course they also make a 64 ounce growler and several other sizes if you really need a lot of coffee.
