Well, no pics (to busy playin') but man am I in love with this thing! Ran 1 full tank through it and all I can say is WOW! Barely noticeable weight difference between it and the Rancher 450, with what feels like 2x the power! Can't wait until its fully broke in! Chips and noodles were flying everywhere for a short time today. Started the break in period by noodling some 17" long elm rounds running it like I stole it. Not even a challenge! It would have taken the 450 Rancher maybe 3 times as long and a pushing struggle the whole way! Then moved onto a 16" dead fall, bark free, sun dried and hardened, box elder to let er rip. HOT KNIFE THROUGH BUTTER! I can't wait to get this thing fully broken in and into some oak!! What isn't there to love about these things? Oh and the heated handles ROCK! It was 22 degress and I was able to wear thin leather gloves comfortably. Going to be dreaming about this thing tonight? And thanks to all those for input on my other posts! It helped me make an Awesome decision!
I thought the anti-vibe was awesome on my 450 Rancher coming from my dad's Homelite Super XL (vibration monster). Going from the 450 to 562 was astonishing! I'd say its pretty vibration free! Cut some more today. (About a half tank) I just can't believe how angry this thing is getting. I think I saw trees quivering!
Hence the infatuation with the new saw! Definitely no buyers remorse going on here, like when I bought the 450.
Heated handles seem frivolous to some, but once you have them, you won't buy another new saw without them. The only people I have encountered that didn't like heated handles are those that have never used them, and Stihl heads who can't get them anymore.
Well still no pic of the saw! But of the wood it cut: It chewed through some full 20" bar almost burried oak way better than I expected! Have 4 tanks through it now and it really screams! Feels like a saw that can't get enough! And man does the anti vibe rock! There isn't any!
