    So, I turned 23 today. My plans for my birthday were to try and get all the Honey Locust I have cut split and stacked, but I had some surprises waiting for me in the garage and boy did that change my plans.

    No offense to other girlfriends out there, but Jenna took the "Best Girlfriend Award 2015" with picking up a MS661C, a "I am Stihl" tee shirt and a moisture meter for me!

    My neighbor helped bring me some more Honey Locust today on this awesome contraption as well. It was called a "wood talon" but he kept referring to it as a midget, whatever you call it, it was awesome AND for sale!!! If anyone has any insight to what something like this is worth, please let me know so I can make an offer soon! image.jpeg image.jpeg

    I also traded my Side-by-side for an ATV that pulls my splitter much easier. It's a brand new 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO 4X4, only 31 miles on it! Apperently a couple both bought quads and the wife never rode hers! Now just to convince the girlfriend I need this grapple trailer...

    Thanks! I am writing up an offer now on the wood talon. He wanted $10,000 but it's pretty well used. Has 1,200lb recommended load capacity and 8,000lb for the trailer. I am going to throw a low ball offer in and see what happens!

    I am not sure what the grapple and trailer are much less what it's worth but I KNOW I want one!
