    Hoping to get my hands on a few bags of cherry pits, but the closest store carrying those is about 45 minutes away, and in an area that I rarely go. Nothing new pellet wise. I've seen AWF, Pro pellets, Cheat River, and Easy Heat so far. Yawn.

    Jay when you test the Turman's and the Country Boys why don't you do the Sets also ,all are made from dust from hardwood flooring,then head to head can become a 3 way :whistle:

    Where's a list of what you've tried burning already? I'm sure there's at least a couple of DF brands out here you haven't burned yet.

    I saw Golden Fire for the first time at Lowe's this week. They were next to the Pres-to-Logs. GF is $300/ton, which is insanely high considering what is available here, and the PTL's are $249/ton.

    They were the "sleeper" pellet about 4 winters ago.....one of the best pellets I've burned.

    I think Golden Fire might be a Bear Mountain product out of Oregon .

    I would have been as happy to see Greenways as I was sets, Maybe just a bit more wiggle for the sets. :banana:

    AWF caught my fancy too.

    The Greenways I burned were a good pellet. No doubt.

    But I would definitely give the edge to the Sets, and the AWF are probably at par with GW.
