I've got a new system I'm trying out this year. I have a pretty good sized space on my covered front porch that had no particular use. I put up two bins made out of kidder panels to store my wood. The panels sit a few feet off my wall, creating a third space. The wall is concrete, so I'm not worried about causing rot on my wall. All in all it is a 9x10 foot square, stacked over 5 feet high. That's about 3.5 cords; I used just under 3 last year. Since the bins are separate, I'll be able to fill them at my convenience as I go. As long as I get a decent day 3 times a year, I'll never have to move wood in the rain/snow/cold/heat etc again! IMG_2011.JPG IMG_2010.JPG

Nice! I wish I had a couple outdoor kennels like that for my dogs.

Looks good. Nice and dry and you still get wind from both sides

Necessity is the mother of invention. It looks like that should work really well. Having wood with no snow and rain will be awesome. Good plan, Bert.
