Absolutely clear morning. Campinspecter has clothes out on the line already. I am hoping to get out and do some fall gardening later today. Temps at night have been down to 40 F at night. Everyone have a good Sunday.

My daughter got to work without a problem today. Some flooding, but the roads she used were okay. Just got another text though that they are sending everyone home early. She is safe. They are expecting more and more rain.

I cleaned the shed out and threw away what the mice got into.

I spent about two hours metal detecting in the yard with the kids. I've gone over this yard so many times, but I always find more. I'm curious about the lead ball. It has hammer dings in it to true it up, so I am curious of how old it is. One wheat penny in the bunch.

Finally! Scored on a scrounge. Two loads of hard maple. (well, at least as much of a load as I dare to put into my old f-150.)
Yeah, I know the "pics" rule...but the camera is at the cottage and the wood is not.
Probably be picking up another truck this month......(sigh)

Took it easy this morning with some friends after we had a few beers and a bonfire at camp up by Cranberry Lake last night. Had a nice breakfast and good time visiting. Tried to get a few things done this afternoon but nothing seemed to go right so I just scrapped it in. Took it easy and then we all went to my brothers house for a nice Ham dinner! Delicious. Time for early shut eye tonight.

Sold a load of wood to the old folks up the road today. I don't like selling it but they need it more than I do and money isn't a problem for them.

Just called to have the propane tank topped off. $1.09 is the cheapest I can remember in a long time.

Busy week as we have a birthday party to plan for coupled with the usual stuff and my sister is in the hospital with pneumonia, so some visits there as well. Spent too much time in hospitals in my relatively short life, not a fan of the place but it's certainly a necessity. I forgot my cell phone at home, can't remember a phone number for the life of me anymore.

Our sunrise this morning had colour. Weather changing with this much red in the sky. Got to see Venus, Space Station and a quarter moon this morning on our walk.
