Easier than the farmers wood lot... i got 2 loads heaped over the bed on my 2500 just from limbs. Today was one full load of 1/2 and 1/4 noodle rounds. Could be an old maple cuts like oak tho i thought it was an oak usually silver maples get that size around here but the bark seems a bit different. Im terrible at the id game.. to me if its hardwood n heavy rounds ill take it

Get that one first. Home is easier to deal with and on your own schedule.

Tree service dropped some nasty leaners over the shop and a dead pignut hickory next to housr and over top my septic. All trees were situations i wouldnt risk. This job was huge to me. I can now get my truck around the back of shop and lean to for firewood storage. Now splitting and stacking will tske place in one area instead of multiples. Got all the limbs chipped and used it as fill in the low spots

Should of seen the noodles before i moved the rounds and the wind took em. I was enclosed with rounds piled around me it was half way up my shins in a good 6 ft circle
That little 455 is a beast for what it is. I wish it lifted more and wish it was 4x4. But with some weight behind her she does a crap ton of work on my small lot. For dirt, mulch, gavel, snow, and firewood it is awesome. I wish jd still made garden tractor sized mowers with loaders. A 1 series or kubota bx seem a touch to big for my property but something like the 425 445 455 are perfect..

Very rare that i run into these. But the new to me 044 seems to enjoy it. I actually sold a 576xpat becausd it sat to much. My 550xp usually handles almost all the firewood
