Anyone use any of this? To me it seems like junk.

I bought a 25" loop about a year or two ago. Just got around to using it a few weeks back. Went to grind it. I thought the cutters looked funny. But when looking closely grinding they appear to either be taller and or thicker? Havent put a caliper to it though.

I was lowering the raker and hardness appears to be all over the place! Different strokes of the file to remove the same metal and there is literally one raker the file is not touching!! Cant get any metal off without fear of getting the tooth! I am pressing hard and can't get shiney metal on a pass!!! May have to take a dremel to it? Just left it for now.

What are yalls experience with it?

It's been referenced here before that Forester chain is the same as Tri-Link .... so bottom line is it's 'disposable' chain.

Rental places around here use it. Saw comes in, chain comes off and get tossed in the scrap bucket.

Got some here that came in on a stihl 72dl. Reminds me of a older oregon cutter style aka copied. It cuts when sharpened about all I can say about it. Firewood guy on a budget chain IMO. Is what it is cheap stuff.

I know its cheap and china made. I just hadnt run any and wanted to see what it was like is why I bought it. Not really worth the money id say.

I have seen posts here before. But not about the inconsistency

And it seems to be cutting and throwing chips fine when sharp. Just seems like cutter is weird shape compared to new oregon and stihl chain and the hardness is all over.

I got one along a forrester bar. Have cut enough with it to make a judgement. Not expecting much cause of the price though.
