325 gallons is about 43 cubic feet. Oak about 60 pounds wet, 45 lbs dry per cubic feet, so about 2500 lbs for the big one with fresh cut oak. That would be for a solid block, so reduce according to how tightly stacked, but 2500 lbs maximum

Just eyeballing it, I'm thinking 1/4 cord stacked tight, which should be around 1000lb.

That is one big pile of wood. You stacking is about how I would do it. I only made my stacks neat enough so they wouldn't fall down.

I was just dumping bucket loads in the bay with the loader, then shoved the 2 totes into the pile to keep the splits from rolling out into the driveway.
    I'm getting lazy..

Frank, as set of forks really do come in handy, even for cutting wood and moving some logs out.

It holds exactly 1/2 a cord per calculations via inside dimensions stacked just above the top... so you can figure out the weight based on the species / weight per cord in the resources section.

Red Oak is 3760 lbs per cord, so the bin will hold about 1,880 lbs. Honey Locust is 4000 lbs a cord, so it would be 2000 lbs. Mines a mix of mostly Locust, Oak and then a mix of other stuff thrown in. That explains why I can't even budge it when full! ;)
