I have been thinking about another saw, not that I really needed it, just kinda wanted one. I have been thinking about a 70cc saw, and just been looking from time to time. I just said to heck with it an ordered me a JONSERED 2172, I have always owned Stihl saws mainly, I did have a Dolmar once and have a Husky 555 now that I love for a firewood saw. Like I said never owned a Jonny Red, the more I looked at them the more I liked it. I found a new one at a pretty decent price I thought with a 20" Pro Bar/ a couple of chains. I have a lot of cutting to do for a while, so I pulled the trigger and bought it. So now that gives me a Stihl MS241c, a Husky 555 and the Jonsered 2172, that should cover me and my wood cutting duties. It is supposed to be here in a couple of days, hope I like it. Any comments or advice on the 2172 would be appreciated. Tom
Thats one of the best saw families ever made. Of course you will love it. I have only run 372s but there a nasty saw!
"Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme." Richard Thompson, Vincent '52 I can't help thinking of my J'red whenever I hear this song! If you ever have an opportunity to see Richard Thompson live, "I highly recommend it."
