Here is some of the splitting I got done today. I still have about an hours worth of splitting left but my back had had enough for one day. I am guessing that it should stack out around 3 cords maybe a touch less.

Good job, you are off to a great start! The temps are getting better to do a little processing :)

You split about 3 cords today? Man it's summer, too much work for that.

Well my wife was at a baby shower with my daughter today so I split from about 11am until 6pm. Took a few little breaks but it was pretty much steady splitting. It is hard to tell from that picture but that pile is over 6 foot tall.

I didn't grab a picture yet but I split and stacked a bunch of really dry non primo wood on the front porch so its there for shoulder season. I am beat right now lol

I felt wore out yesterday but this morning everything is letting me know how unhappy it is about yesterday. Nothing like some ibuprofen with your coffee :D

I also split some rounds that have been in the shed for a few years and had some punk when I put them in there. Got them stacked on the front porch to use for evening fires in the fall.

Got the rest of it split up and stacked about 1.5 cords before moving on to mowing and weed eating.

Got another 1.4 cords stacked and covered and probably have another 1/2-3/4 to go. I have been stacking in rows that are around 3 cords when they are done. Waiting to see how many stacks I end up with before buying more sheet metal for the top cover.
