Yep here's my stash! Hedge, mulberry, white oak, shagbark and pignut hickory, honey and black locust, white ash, cherry, black walnut, silver maple, gum, and a few rounds of spruce. Getting more hedge in the next 2 weeks and more dead barkless BL Think I'm right at 15 cords.
Sheesh, how do you know what you want to burn when? Quite the mixture there. I have red oak, red oak, boxelder, red oak, red oak, red oak, and red oak, uh uh uh and about 1/4 cord of poplar!
Hey, you are too new here to have a stash like that! We are going to have to confiscate some of that, until you learn how to do some work. Greg
I keep all the soft stuff separate from the hard stuff. Oak/mulberry/hedge/hickory/honey locust have their own bins. I don't want to use the good stuff during shoulder season and I can pull soft stuff to get the fire going on those cold months! I separate it based on seasoning time too. Oak and Honey Locust will always take longer so I make sure I keep those 2 separate from everything else. Yeah...3 year plan is a good peace of mind!
