Yep, the MR1. Was toying with getting one for a couple years up to the Colorado shooting time frame. Then they went nuts on cost, and I wouldn't buy high. Then Benelli stopped sales of them in the States. Kept my eye open for a long time now for a clean one that wasn't crazy on cost and finally ran into this one. It is really clean. Can't wait to get out in the field with it. Hogs beware............... Now it is selling time for the other 223 I have, as well as a couple more I wanted to move out of the safe, like a 458 and a 7mm mag.

Yeah, I never heard of that mr1 before. Then I saw what they were going for on gunbroker. 3k for a gun? It sounds like you waited for a deal and didn't pay anywhere near that.

I did not pay anywhere near 3k. Wouldn't give that for a gun ever. As long as there is not another scare, I think these can be had from 1k-1300 in vgc. Mine looked nearly unfired. No marks, no wear. It has a serial under 300 too. I got to shoot it last week and if was awesome! I had a unique experience, never before seen. When I was doing my best to group at 100 yards, I saw the muzzle flash in the scope. Hot loads may be the reason vs an 06 or 12 gauge. Just never experienced that. Got a nice 1 inch group at 100 with a pretty crude bench setup. More than happy. I will be going off to a farm this weekend where I can get a few hundred yards off target. Looking forward to seeing what this can do. Not expecting too much with the 16 inch barrel, but hopefull to stay within a 6 inch group out to that distance.
