is shot on my 223l string trimmer. Can the rubber be replaced or do I need the whole plastic housing with the rubber in it? Plastic housing has clips that mount it in a hole and has fuel ports on the back. I forgot to take pics, will try to steal some off the net.

You need to replace the bulb assembly.

The "local" hardware sales and services Husq. They had one in stock today so I should be good. Thanks for the input.

I buy them in bulk. Thinking $2 apiece. Everything uses those dang things or one other style like on the wild thing. ;)

Same one was on my earthquake. It got pulled amd lines capped as a molded line had to be cut and I could not hook it back up. Then I got a new carb that did not have the fitting for it so the line to the carb was pulled and there is just a blank spot on the saw. I may put the bulb back so it kooks stock...just won't function.
