I hear ya! I've been burning a lot of calories processing firewood. It's good exercise, and very rewarding. Finding a boat load if morels only make it sweeter.

After stacking my last 1/2 cord of hickory and beech I brought to the house on Sunday, I was dripping sweat. I'm not a sweaty guy either. My wife was very kind and brought me a super cold beer without even having to ask if I wanted one. Yeah, that's more calories, but it was so tasty.

Nice hoard! Looks like there's a few good workouts in there.

Do you find that your chainsaw wants to steer you to the right in a big cut? You might have your right hand cutters sharpened more aggressively than your left. I used to have the same problem before I switched to using the granberg jig.

Maybe shawn some of the larger rounds on the bottom were cut with my other saw. Cut them last december. Village I live in cut down 2 trees, but I had to get them right then. In a hurry I didnt see that someone (read idiot) had put CONCRETE in one big knot hole. Well suffice to say trashed my chain. The angle was all messed up but I got the edge back quickly to get the job done. In all fairness, I take the blame for getting in a hurry and not paying attention to what I was cutting.

Still waiting on co worker to have ash tree taken down. Gonna add to the pile. Also 2 streets over ha 2 large oaks taken down. A LOT of wood. Been knocking on their door twice gonna leave a note tomorrow. I am getting obsessed. Should I be worried?
