A coworker found a small area where a treecutter dumps his unwanted wood and got permission to take it. He doesn't have a big saw so he asked me to give him a hand. We went there after work and I noodled the heck out of the pile with my 044 and 084. No action pics but here's my share.

Nice catch. Did some noodling yesterday myself. The noodled quarters usually make nice square splits and the noodles make awesome firestarters.

I've got some elm that I think is going to see a little noodle action. I think maybe only the second time the huskee splitter met it's match.

Mostly. I'm not good at tree type. Maybe a oak and another unknown mixed in

They have been sitting out along the road for a long time and nobody wanted to tackle it. I love noodling so its a win win for me. The bonus was my son helped me split it as we took it off the truck last night.I think we will go back next Monday, maybe Ill take some pics then.

Nice score! Even noodled those are no fun to lift. I had to noodle some black locust last weekend so I could pick it up and it was still a pain!

I think one of the blocks was locust and it sure was heavy.
