Very nice, Ashwatcher! Well built, sir- very sturdy construction. I built mine last summer, and it's held up well through our windy winter.
Thanks to you Farmhand, Prell, Yooper and all-this is such a nice place-Farmhand-Would love to hunt those IA whitetails-we have nice ones here, but nothing on average like you do...And Eric-I share your wind thoughts-its been horrible here too
Awesome pictures Ash! You' ve got a sweet setup and some very cool toys. That wood shed is icing on the cake. You belong here, that is for sure.
And I take that as nothing but a compliment and a place to call home Frank-It's not everyone that understands our passion but to tell the truth, I read everyones unabashed generosity and warmth last night to buy that lady a saw, someone they dont likely know in tough economic times--that sealed the deal for me, I wanted to join this group! "If you want to know the true character of a man, look at what he does for someone who can do nothing for him"
It is a special group, for sure. And I too, feel lucky to be a part of it. I'm starting to get a little bit pumped for the weekend. Why? Because there's a downed cherry tree with my name on it. Most people would find that odd, but not here. Everyone here knows exactly what I'm talkin about--and that's pretty cool if you ask me!
Way cool sir-and those that matter in this context understand...and the weather forecast here has me pumped too-my goal is six truck loads, ash maple and beech-I have a little cherry to cut too, downed, but it will have to wait-I never thought this addiction would extend so far-taking vacation days to CSS, looking forward to like my past Tues vacation day 13 hours of labor, checking weather for ideal conditions, etc...gotta love it
It's a great feeling of accomplishment and something different from the task you routinely do at work. That's the way I look at it. I work harder at home some days than I do at work.
Im sorry, the acronym CAD? Drawing a blank here--though Im sure it should be obvious? Perhpas Im blinded by limbs I need to get out of the way to get to prime burning wood
Scotty, your welcome means a lot-I will share the specs for the shed and as long as my two saws stay butter cut ready, I really dont have further requisition/acquisition desires-I do all I can with the 018-the Farm Boss is heavy! Have really enjoyed learning about Huskys on here though-know they are a great product but I have a Stihl shop nearby that serves me well-I really appreciate all the comments on the woodshed-I'm a design nut and it took me like 4 weeks to build myself with a little help from some friends-non wood burning psycho friends, so it was fun them not understanding its importance-lol
I have to say, I am shocked so many here are welcoming you at all!! Your type is NOT welcome here!!! We have standards and we will NOT allow such riff raff......oh, wait. Sorry. I thought the "h" in asHwatcher was an "s". In that case...welcome to the mad house!
When I read it my brain says "a**washer" one moment, then "---watcher" the next! Is that an established thing- WSE?
I substitute the "S" quite frequently Schlot-hope that doesn't disquailfy me??? Like the trees, I usually just view them from afar-Thank you for the welcome....slot, really,..???
