Thanks brother. And don't think I've forgotten about that big block I promised you! As soon as the cursed snow melts and it warms up you'll be getting a call from me.

I'm planning on pulling the whole thing trans and all as you'll most likely want it. The 727 big block trans are different from the small blocks I believe. But that's your call.

And yeah if I lived down the road from that square-foot dude I'd have to bribe him with PBR and chawin tabacky to let me watch him file chains with his hoof rasps.:dex:

Basically stock with a custom one-off KDK muff mod plus the .05hp xp mod, also from KDK Performance.:dex:

It will most likely take a vacation to TN to grow up some as soon as my money tree starts blossoming and the monkey gets caught up.;)

Yeah I liked them but the exhaust was blowing back towards me and that gets old, so I had one of the maintenance guys at work cut me a piece of stainless and I bent it up half way decent. It runs just fine that way and keeps the fumes at bay.

Wish I could buy your 461R but I'm running on champagne dreams with a busch light budget right now, know what I mean?

    I hear you bro...

I used to save money to buy stuff. Now I sell something to buy something. Keeps my saw count down and CAD within reason

Yep.. 14" picco and it doesn't need to be ported. It's gonna be a fast cookie cutter!! LOL

No, I really bought it to tackle a huge ash tree that has been down at my buddies house. A 36" bar from each side may make the cut? I hope.. Because I don't want to carry anything bigger than 36". It's a 20 foot piece of trunk that several people have attempted to cut up. Once they couldn't cut anymore with a 25"/28" bar. They quit..

Below is unrelated.. But it's about a 661 anyways..

I ran my 460 against a couple 661's this past weekend at the GTG in Iowa.. The results blew me away. My 460 is faster than a stock 661 in pretty big wood (we used a 36" bar). And just as fast as a ported 661 (all used the same bar and chain/ 125 page thread on AS about it).

    A 125 pages already!!

36" bar from both sides may make the cuto_O

Are those dawgs standard with the cutouts now?

And I guess you had this one ordered already cause if you found out your 460 was just as fast what would be the point to the 661 with a 36" bar?

It was delivered this morning.. and those dawgs are only on the R models.

    1430169117966.jpg

And the point of the 661 is torque. The bar wasn't fully buried with thr 460. Plus, the 661 oils the 36" better. Longevity is also important. My 460 was tuned to about 15,200 at the GTG. I normally don't run with it that high.

Plus, the test had a few things that I would have liked to do different. So I am going to some testing of my own with different ratios and different oils.
