North American Pellets anyone?

Anyone have these in their area? First time I have seen these, seems new pellets are surfacing with spring here.

Wonder how they burn.....couldn't buy any cause wife knows we have to pick up 5 tons in April for next year. They only had a few of these. I wasn't sure if they were any good.

 

I have not burned them in a while but they were just ok then. Same as Currans. Best thing to do is grab a few bags to see how they burn for you.

I used a ton for shoulder duty this year. They burn fine in my stove, but sure are ashy buggers!

 

Yeah like my FSU, ashy as anything. I vacuum the furnace once a week.

 

I've never burned these simply because they have a fairly poor reputation. There was a 4+ week period this winter when this product was all you could find around here. They are sold heavily at both TSC and Lowes.

 

Ahhh, I haven't seen them at lowes all winter other then when I posted this from Lowes.

 

My $.02 is they are just blah. I would think better could be had at that price or lower.

Run, run away. My stove hated the North Americans, although that was two years ago. Pellets change...
