Phhhhttttttt Looks like the damm weather screw ups got it backwards as Maine was supposed to get what I got. As late as 9 am this morning the weather screw ups were SURE that we were not getting more than a dusting today. Well I needed the snow blower on a dusting to an inch :hair:

I can't wait for the new sofa sectional! Had to look it up and admire it again today

Can you imagine getting rid of a set you had for almost 20 years? Bummer the old set is extremely comfortable. BUT, they are past cleaning at this point, and they are WWAAAY to big for our new home.

Somebody kick me in the rear, I need to learn "out with the old in with the new", spending $600 and sending the old comfortable (they were expensive back in 1998) to the dump. :picard:

My boss would go looking for some upholstery fabric and refurb the old set if the frames were anywhere near good. The new stuff is very iffy in the sturdiness department.

Frigid weather is still having a grip on us, had some freezing rain & 6" of snow the other day. Slow melt for a couple of days and now back to frigid:( Spring showing it's face and then leaving us high & dry, I just don't get it. I should ask the new stove on the block and see what she's says.........Gentlemen please go back to your seats and be patient for a little, little, little, little while longer, Spring will be here any day now :seasoned::seasoned::seasoned:

I took a night glass at the HS for upholstery. First thing I tackled was a lazy boy recliner, then I did a couch and love seat, both with incliners in them. Lots of cutting and sewing, but at the end, I saved a bunch of money. Then I did the boat seats over. They are still holding up well. I found an old heavy duty singer machine at a lawn sale. I was surprised by the outcome. But I have to admit that it is a lot of work.
