Around here they used cast iron out of the house then that chit into and out of the tank. Helped my dad dig out and replace his a few years back. House was built in 70.

You got it. House was built in 1959. Best thing about that stuff was slicing it with the shovel as I was digging it out.

Today my workshop is finally diassemled! All part of the reconstruction of the lower level. The shop will now be in the garage. Two story, two bay 24x30 gambrel building. There are barrels of scrap wood and asoorted years of accumuled things that should have been tossed out years ago.
I honestly don't know how there was so much in such a small space 12x20. The utilities remain, I'll do a work around for the new study and hobby area. No plans to finised off the ceilings. The floor will be pained with that garage floor speckle stuff. I don't want anything that will encourage the wife to encrouch anymore into my space. I need to be able to get away from the TV and phone. Too much drama for this old goat.
There will a lot going on over the next few months. Hopefully, all worth it when it is done.

Hey Larry, sounds like things are progressing. Meanwhile back at the ranch it was -12 something this morning now the sun has stuff melting on the back (front) deck. Make your area into a walk in well ventilated refrigerator, that should keep the boss lady at bay. I glower menacingly at my boss and it seems to do the trick, except when I'm not there and then when I get back into the den I notice there is more junk in the closet or under the stairs.

I got to keep her out of there. She will fill it full of junk in no time. That is my job! Yea, she doesn't like normal temperatures so keeping it cool should work. Plus, my labs like it cool so they won't be in her way if the stay around me. I have have to have my quiet space.

I ended up going with a 60" because u was afraid the 65" would be too big for the closer seats in my room. BestBuy.com was there delivering right at 7am. Great service today

Went to the MD at the VA. I'm way over weight. So he suggest a diet. Food that had a face to it or is green. No bread, pasta, potato, corn etc. :headbang: He didn't say a thing about portion control.:loco:  He suggested a couple eggs and suassages for breakfast! :D Cheese is OK but not cornflakes. Wife is not impressed.

It's not easy getting rid of all those carbs. But there are plenty of tasty foods to get by. Sausages are one of them . Wish you well on your new diet!!

The boss will get over it or not but you need to follow that advice. Go to a seafood place and get some lobsters and find a big pot. You know the rest. A lot of weight can be lost skipping the carbs.

Well, here is the new toy. I have a kit to hide the wires. That is a little more involved so may not happen for a bit.
