About half way through the burning season, and half way through the lean to

    I suppose we are getting pretty close to the halfway point of the burning season, although around here there's still a solid 3.5-4 months of burning before I make the switch to morning or evening fires for another month after that.

    I love it, and would seriously consider building this as the years go on. For starters my plan is to build a large level area that I dig out and then level with gravel. Place pallets on top of that and then load my wood. Overtime, I could improve the area by pouring a slab, and then later building a lean to. Just not enough money to go all in at onetime.

    Exactly what I did. Spread the cost over time.
    My basic structure went up pretty quick, then I pecked away at siding it.
