I now have a cat probe with numbers. My probe stopped working so I ordered a replacement from Condar. It's nice to now be able to put a real number with the cat temps instead of active/inactive. My wife isn't feeling it yet but she'll be fine. She doesn't care about numbers so the active/inactive probe was perfect for her.(the reason BK has the OE probe it the way they do)

I have the same probe. It's nice, takes the guesswork out.

I replaced my BK thermo with the same one. I remember BKVP saying that once they went to the no number thermo they got a lot less calls from nervous nellies.

I picked up a condar cat probe about a month ago for the IS. I'm not sure how far off the numbers are but I think it may be about 100 deg after it gets to 1000. I had the worst time bending the SS probe to reach the cat. Anyways, it's good to have another therm to look at when seeing how the stove is running.
