Looks like it's a great day! You got the family outdoors with you and the lil one ready to make a cut with mom at his side. I remember you posting the other day about taking your rounds right off the truck and onto the horizontal splitter to lessen the back soreness. Enjoy your day with the family
A family who hoards wood together warms good together!! Sorry that's the best I got on the fly! Lol. Nothing like taking your loved ones out to enjoy our passion of firewood with us!
When lil ones like to help with firewood chores, and then get to stand back and see a huge woodpile all stacked up... I've always felt it was one of the very best ways to teach them a good early work ethic. They get to "see" all of their efforts neatly stacked. Cert's right... good family time!
If you ever get tired of climbing trees, you may have a future in poetry as a side gig Nick- nice pics, looks like a good time with the family. What kind of wood you got there?
Thats cool. Took the grandaughter to load wood. She really had a good time and was actually a lot of help. Those are the memories of good times with my dad when I was a kid. Passing to a new generation I hope.
Nick, thanks for the pictures. They brought back some good memories. Cherish those times. The young ones grow so fast you'll be wondering where that time went. As for us, our youngest son turned 50 in December. How on earth could it happen that fast?
