    I lived in Amarillo, TX for about 18 months in '87-'88. Had a blizzard there that winter and it shut the town down for 3+ days and had close to 0*F temps.............amazing what 14" of snow can do to a place without the tools to remove it!!!!

    Amarillo=Arm Pit of the World!!

    I was in Plano Texas early December 1979 for technical training when it snowed and iced pretty good. Good folks there, but it was plain to see they didn't know how to drive on it. Lotsa cars in ditches. Slightly worse than here, LOL.
