Wow that saw rips. Worked around a stump that was about 30" then noodled it up. Did the same thing with 2 other stumps that were probably 22". No action shots because we were on a time crunch but it's officially made chips fly!
Thats awesome isnt it. To use a saw for the first time. I love it as well even if its a used saw that I use for the first time
I grew up in the city and always loved the country. (Grandparents and aunt/uncle lived in country.) The ONLY good thing with a city is all the places to go (stores) in the same area and every thing is always within like 5miles. Doesnt necessarily go faster getting there all the time due to traffic though. I HATE traffic!
Yeah it really is. Biggest saw I've ever run was a 290 or 291. I knew it would cut well but it was even a little more than I expected and that was only the first tank. That thing really rips.
Cool deal,I know how you feel.My wife says she likes to watch me use one of my "new toys" because I'm out there working with a big smile on my face.
I'm no expert, but I can agree with you that even in stock form, that saw does serious work. No replacement for displacement...
Yeah I was impressed. That said, it's so much bigger than anything I've run I can't really compare it to anything saw wise. A good comparison would be the super duty to the 150 I had. The 5.4 did the job but a big diesel does it a lot better.
