    Nice looking wood for sure! Perfect size too, nice and manageable... Not too punky yet either. That Beech will be nice also. :) :thumbs:

    One tree that had been standing dead but fell during the summer was punky in the sap wood. I must confess that I had been given a request from my GF to cut some trees that might be ready to burn so that she could take wood to a couple older people with some really bad stuff to burn. So Sat. and Sun. she sorted through and split the driest stuff and took each a load in her 2500.

    It rained all day here, so I went to the barn and split a gas tank full of what was left, still need to stack it. Got to start refilling the open space in the stacks.
