Welcome Nick. My buddy at work just bought a house with the Englander wood furnace in the basement. He is in the process of learning to operate it and he has some extra parts which he thinks is a blower and part of the duct kit. He did run it and could not believe how much heat it puts out. He said his basement was 85 + degrees, and he needs to move the heat up and out to the rest of the house. I'll be watching for any posts you put up of that heater.

Have a friend with the Englander furnace, a few years old, now heats his two story house with it. He is real happy with it vs the old smoke dragon he used to have.

How do you like that add on? I've been thinking about replacing the old volcano i have in my basement in the next year or so.

Have you experienced a power outage with it running yet? Some of these add on wood furnaces like to get a little hot if the power goes out. I know mine jumps up a few degrees if it loses power. Curious if the englander just keeps on cruising at a safe temp.
