    technology will always win over mass (given similar orders of magnitude).

    new cars have energy dispersion. and while the old big metal car may fair better, your body won't in a crash. The idea is for the car to eat the energy so your body doesn't. It's the same reason why f1 cars explode into pieces on impact. Because the driver walks away after a 200mph crash most the time.

    geeze, i can't win.

    crashed my truck today. brakes went out and i rear ended a guy. fluid everywhere. smashed the raditator.

    2 cars to no cars in 2 weeks flat.

    i popped a brake line right at the hard line to soft line fitting on the drivers side wheel. lost all line pressure. I think the fitting itself cracked. I just had all the soft lines replaced about a year and a half ago because 1 soft line went out in my driveway.

    this truck has been the biggest pile of chit i've ever owned. i'll never own another american vehicle. first, and last.
