Went out with my two little girls today. This is our youth gun season weekend and a great time taking the kids out in the woods. Both girls have been begging to go for a while now. It was a cold morning at 23 outside but they did good. We sat for a little over two hours before seeing a deer. Wow was it fun, they were just ready to call it quits and these two deer walked in. The second one made the mistake of sticking around after we walked up to the first dead deer. Their faces are priceless. Love these kids. I don't think they will forget this moment in their lives.

Thanks everyone. I will never forget this moment. A first deer is a great memory and I know I will never forget mine. For sure I will never forget theirs.
Wow, that's awesome. That's the kind of sappy story stuff that makes me want to have kids someday. My first deer was with my uncle at age 16 in southern Ohio with a mini14. Dad wasn't a hunter and not fond of guns with children in the house... Good on you swags, they will not forget their first deer
That's awesome love taking my little girl with. She was actually up Friday morning at 4 am when I left the house and was more than ticked off at me cause she couldn't go with because of school. She hasn't been with to shoot a deer but the time together in the blind is priceless.
