PSP gets their man....................

So very glad that the Pennsylvania State Police followed thru on their pledge to hunt down and capture cop-killer Eric Frein. Kudos to the Monroe County DA who is on record that he will seek the death penalty for Frein. Thanks PSP for your perseverance over the 48 day search. A lot of folks in Pike and Monroe counties are resting easier today.

 

This has been an interesting case. They did a great job apprehending him. Did you hear about the poor fellow that walks to work and loosely fit the killers description. Poor guy got stopped dozens of times on his way to work. A lady up that way started a Internet fund raiser and raised something like $22000 for him to get a car.

 

Give that man a "chair".....

 

What did he do?

 

I like this part, he now has a special pair of handcuffs to wear.

Frein was slapped with the handcuffs of the Pennsylvania state trooper he allegedly shot and killed, a fitting end for law enforcement officers to the 48-day manhunt. Cpl. Bryon Dickson, 38, was killed when Frein allegedly opened fire outside the Blooming Grove state police barracks on Sept. 12. Fellow officer Trooper Alex Douglass, 31, was also seriously wounded.

 

Shoulda clamped those cuffs to his nads and stretched the chain around the back of his neck... SOB.

 

He was caught about 5 miles from my home

I heard he was captured with these bruises.

 

Yes. LOL Report said they caught him in a field and he was un-armed. I believe they gave him a couple of love taps to make sure he was okay.

Way to go officers. Proud of you.

 

Right on. I understand that the other Trooper, shot thru the pelvis, is now in rehab trying to regain some normalcy in his life. Prayers to him also.

 

Personally, I think the guys that actually caught him showed some serious self control in not ending his life on the spot. Could easily have claimed self defense or shot trying to escape. I doubt anyone involved would have questioned it.

My question would be what their favorite beer was and provided a couple cases all around!
