My wife and I went out hunting last night on the land we bought this year. Had a great time hunting with her and she shot the deer we were really hoping would show up. Really nice 10 point. He came in from completely the opposite direction that we expected him to though, she spotted him and said there's another buck coming. He ended up walking right under is at 15 yards. She made the shot and he went down within 100 yds. The shot was a little back so we left him for a few hours, coyotes got at him a bit but not too bad. We can get almost all the meat off of him.
Nice deer. So honestly how is it hunting with the wife? Mine has been wanting to go but a little unsure of her taking up my fall past time.
Negative to it is if she really gets into it everything costs twice as much. But it is well worth it, I LOVE the time we get to spend together hunting. She hunts with me a lot, and has gone gator hunting, pig hunting, waterfowl, deer and went to Africa with me.(she planned that one) It sure makes a lot of great memories we can share, and I'm not spending all that time away. We do still hunt separately as I'm into it a lot more then she is. So I can still get time away.
My wife hates heights with a passion so there is no worry of her climbing in a stand. I do have a blind out but only use it if necessary as I prefer stands.
Beautiful buck! I'm not typically a jealous person but you guys have some nice property to hunt. It's hard to get people around here to understand what it means to pass the young bucks. Even when you show them nice bucks like this they don't get it.

Nice Buck and beautiful wife...You should get her a job on the Outdoor channel...Between the animals you/she bagged in Africa and that Buck, she has better kills than the ladies on that channel!
