The thermo goes to 1022 deg F. Most in this price range only goes to about 700. If you order something else to get your order over $35 you get free shipping.
Can't go wrong with that price, $22.00. I have never had one so I don't know if this a quality unit for the money.
Clicked the link and saw this listed directly below the one you pointed out http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006V4WNYU/ref=pd_luc_rh_bxgy_01_02_t_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its cheaper and its their best seller.... Or this one with adjustable emissivity http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products®-Thermometer-Adjustable-Emissivity/dp/B00NFPJ7ZQ/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2VZTJP6N0Z6QL You guys ever read up on emissivity? I just did and I didnt know that reading can be that far off!! http://www.thermoworks.com/learning/infrared_tips_what_is_emissivity.html Chart http://support.fluke.com/find-sales/Download/Asset/3038318_6251_ENG_A_W.PDF
I went with this one as well due to it being the best seller and having a 4.5/5 rating with 404 customer reviews. http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products...id=1414094309&sr=8-1&keywords=ir+thermometers The other one looks good too but it has 4 stars with only 19 reviews, I like the bigger sample size for the other one.
Was in the market for one of these so I just bought the one you recommended Razo. Thanks for posting, and for starting the thread Huntindog1.
