Since my wife has been super supportive of my wood burning addiction, I have decided to get rid of a few of my wood racks and build a nice looking wood shed.

I want to put it where one of my wood racks is right now, but there has been a wood stump in the way. The tree was removed by her dad 10 years ago when she was renting the house. Now that we've bought it I finally got around to removing it.

The before and after and what I'm planning on building. I have quite a few wood shingles from another project that I decided not to do so I'll be using those for the roof.

Kind of like the board and batten look for the two sides.

Shouldn't the sides be open to the wind or are you putting already seasoned dried wood in it?

Yes it would be seasoned already. Hoping to get about a chord in it, so I can get rid of three of my racks.

It won't be 8' wide so I will be using the height and depth to make up the difference.

Make it bigger.. I made Mine big enough to close the door and hang out for a while when I go out to get wood, kind of a man cave. Never regretted it. Love the place.
